Name: Bob Miller
Position: Assistant Coach
Background
After
growing up playing competitive hockey in Saskatchewan,
rugby found Bob relatively late in life. Immediately, the skills
and fitness that the game required had him hooked. After a few years of
playing social level rugby and learning the game, Bob moved quickly into the
elite levels culminating with 2 seasons as a member of the Quebec
Senior Men's rugby team, the Quebec Caribou. During this time, Bob also began
coaching at the CEGEP level with Marionopolis
College in Montreal. Upon returning to his Alma Mater in
Ottawa, Bob contacted
Head Coach Stu Robinson to work with him in guiding
the Gee-Gees towards their goals as an elite rugby team.
His approach to rugby is simple:
·
Old school is just
old.
·
Be on the cutting edge
of the sport.
·
Field a team of 22
complete athletes - fit and prepared
·
Treat your teammates
like family.
